- 2019-2022 Crisis Response Team - Gila River Fire Department (Volunteer)
Crisis intervention services as a part of the 9-1-1 emergency call system with Fire Medical Rescue and Police Department to provide on-scene emotional support and follow-up to community members facing trauma. The team fully focuses on the emotional and practical needs of the family and/or individual while public safety personnel attend to law enforcement, medical emergency and fire suppression needs.

Rising through the ranks from Member to District director, built UNC Charlotte Chapter (NC Delta) from only a few active members to ~100. Transitioning to leadership roles, helped neighboring chapters with membership, scholarships, job placement, motorship, and outreach.
- 2005 Hurricane Katrina Relief - Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
In the first week after Katrina made landfall, Direct Relief furnished $10 million in medical material aid and cash grants to support community clinics and health centers throughout the region that serve as the health-care safety net for low-income and uninsured individuals.
Pioneering the "FEMA Spec trailer" program, coordinated the mobilization of tens of thousands of RV’s & eventually Government specified trailers for temporary housing.
